Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Operations Management Level Senior Manager & Summary A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You\'ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC\'s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you\'ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing. Position Title: Business Finance IFS Grade/Level: Senior Manager Reporting Manager Title: Associate Director Sub LoS/SBU: CFO Office LoS: IFS Direct Reports: None Location: Gurgaon Position Type: Permanent full-time Section I: Job Summary This is an exciting and high visibility role with focus on ensuring high quality management reporting and analytics. As a FP&A professional, the individual will utilize his/her knowledge to prepare and review Monthly reporting decks, prepare budgets and forecasts, prepare decks with supporting analytics . This role will require extensive analysis to be done on various fronts. This is a Team management role and will have very limited supervision and direction and the candidate is required to work with a high degree of independence and autonomy with high levels of accuracy and detailed analytics. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Preparation and consolidation of monthly PwC India and Global reporting including additional analytics including and not specific to: Developing the art of influencing, improving communication and articulation skills Build & maintain effective working relationship with leaders, stakeholders and business to channelize feedback Maintain and build relationships with Finance process leads to ensure end to end process efficiency achieved Work with LoS Ops leads to identify what all transactional process can be migrated to Shared Service, accordingly, work with Strategy & transformation lead to transition the same. Alignment to LoS Ops leads, Markets team, Net Zero stakeholders for business partnering role. Identifying and driving high value business insights & strategic initiatives to optimize finance processes around efficiency, effectiveness, compliances & controls Contributing to continuous improvement projects for Finance organization like Oracle cloud project as part of FP&A group, Net Zero community calls as part of India Territory and Markets Reporting Preparing internal reports for executive leadership and supporting their decision making related to Net Zero and Markets Reporting. Risk evaluation, identification of opportunities and recommendation of next steps Giving timely insights to India Leadership, suggesting corrective actions and strategies for effective decision making Work with LoS teams, sector leaders and Global community to get timely inputs for budgeting and forecasting Review the budgets and forecasts submitted, and liaison with LoS Ops leads, sector leaders to ensure detailed level of inputs are provided with appropriate justification and back-ups Post finalization of budgets, provide inputs to Transactional Services and Controller team for consolidation as well as Global Reporting Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Monitor and review Net Zero emissions, sector trends and Global reporting framework Exception Reporting, Predictive Modeling, Scenario Analysis Trend Analysis of budget for glidepath in Net zero 2030 journey Analyze LoS/ SBU/ Sub-SBU/ Competency performance against all relevant comparable, Budget, Forecast, YoY etc. Collation of inputs (revenue) from other LoS Business Partners for consolidated revenue analytics at India level and evaluation of sectors, platforms and other dimensions of revenue reporting. Review of above data on a monthly basis & providing inputs for correction, if any and improvements or observations Create a high performing Business Finance team through imparting appropriate training and guidance to the team members (New as well as existing) Creating Performance framework - detailed KRA\'s of the teams aligned to Finance Functional Goals Mentoring & continuous coaching of the team members Enabling team team members to deliver regular BAU activities Digital Capability Digitally upskill yourself and the team leveraging the Digital Acing program Learning/ Training Accelerator Program Ensuring learning hours in addition to mandatory trainings (40 hours of behavioral/technical training in addition to the mandatory training) for the team. Participate in the Training accelerator Performance and Feedback Timely closure on Career Goals for staff and new joiners (within 45 days of joining). Closure on Midyear review(Ad-hoc review) and Annual review (Conduct Annual review) within stipulated timeline as communicated by BU HC. Give regular feedback by using Workday Quality Adherence to the accountability framework shared by Internal Audit team Education Level: CA/MBA Experience Level: Approximately 8-10 years of relevant experience in a Business Finance. Other Attributes: English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication Advanced analytical skills, with an ability to apply sound business judgment to individual and team assignments A positive attitude and approach, with a willingness to accept new challenges A flexible approach to change and should be able to provide solutions for problems Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality work, with a willingness to team with others, and help create a positive work environment Mandatory Skill Set- financial planning and analysis Preferred Skill Set- financial planning and analysis Year of experience required- Approximately 8-10 years of relevant experience in a Business Finance.
