Role Description

Location - Gurgaon
This role will be reporting to Head of Solutions & Strategy based out of Gurgaon office of Incedo. The function is responsible for strategy execution, development of solutions (accelerators, IPs) for specific use-cases based on clients / prospective problem statements, proprietary thought-leadership for business development (playbooks) and responding to RFPs with specific scope of work (SoW).
Additionally, practice management for various BUs is aligned with this function to make sure strategic agenda for BUs, Go-to-market strategy, topics for investing in knowledge development are intact with the firm priorities.

Key responsibilities
  • Define BU / Horizontal level Strategy along with the Business Heads and Head of Strategy
o We have embarked on sales strategy program leading to transformation of our sales model, wherein we are working with leading management consulting firm to upgrade our sales engine in line with our aspirations.
o The team will be responsible for executing on the recommendations of the Sales Model Transformation Program. This is a unique opportunity for building a scalable sales model for Digital Transformation specialist firm.
o Keep a track of market developments and how technology buying spend & behaviors are changing.
o Competitive intelligence to understand the nature of offerings and sharpen our propositions ahead of the curve.
o Developing propositions and designing Go-to-market Strategy for winning in the market.
  • Develop industry / segments point-of-views and solutions which are aligned to Go-to-market Strategy of the BU / Horizontal
o This is critical to win proactive / sole-sourced projects and deals.
o This involves primary and secondary research, developing hypothesis on market / client situation, conducting analyses and preparing client-ready documents for discussion.
o Integrates emerging technologies use-case into our value proposition.
o Develop solutions including demo and proof-of-concepts needed during \'shaping\' stage of sales process. This requires close coordination with the onsite sales and product management teams incl. design thinking, data science teams etc.
  • Manage the Practice as COO of BUs while working closely with BU Heads. Specifically,
o Drive the strategic agenda for Practice in line with firm priorities.
o Define the focus areas for GTM and drive the execution along with account managers.
o Keep a tab on the deals we are pursuing and transparency of Next Best Actions (NBA).
o Understand the commercial aspects of IT services model (onsite/offshore, project methodology, etc.) including evaluation of different approaches leading to different pricing scenarios
o Drive internal initiatives like building compendium of case studies, capabilities decks and other initiatives which enhance our value proposition e.g. automation, transition to managed services model etc.

Technical Skills

Primary skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written & oral communication, presentation storyboarding skills
  • Fact-based analysis of the market and other situations
  • Stakeholder management including C-suite and VPs in the verticals and horizontals
  • Program management for response and bids

Qualifications

Desired experience
  • Post-MBA experience in consulting preferably strategy & operations, performance improvement functions; strategy function of corporates
  • Total experience to be in the range of 8- 14 years
