Qualification: B.E Fire & Safety/M.Sc. Environment

Experience: 15-20 years experience of EHS API manufacturing plant or Chemical Plant.

Candidate from Regulatory API Plant will be preferred

• Identify, Review & monitor statutory compliance related to EHS through a calendar and tracker.
• Ensure smooth operation of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) operation (Effluent Treatment Plant, Reverse Osmosis, Multi Effect Evaporator, Agitated Thin Film Dryer etc.) on regular after getting inputs from different Consultants basis with adherence to statutory compliances.
• Assisting Cluster EHS Head in implementation of Corporate EHS Management systems.
• Filling all application for statutory approvals and carryout technical liaising, follow-up visits made to PPCB office for their smooth approval
• To ensure the implementation and compliance of work permit system.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Purchase, Account, Production & other department to maintain ZLD on regular basis.
• Liaison with State & Central Pollution Control Board/Authorities as well as with PESO, Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health on matter connected with Environment and safety regulation.
• To suggest the concerned dept. for loss prevention practices in view of safety & health of workers
• Identify hazardous waste and disposal of Hazardous waste as per Hazardous Waste Management & Handling rules on regular basis.
• Review audit & compliance of facility /equipment\'s and other related documents through a calendar and tracker of EHS.
• Carrying out hazard identification with concerned dept. for any new process or modification and review and Approval of all Change controls.
• Update On-Site Emergency plan and conduct mock drill for up keeping effectiveness of plan.
• Develop Environment Opex & capex budget for the site & track the implementation of the same.
• Plan & organize periodic meeting with stake holders on various aspects of environment management system.
• Review and maintain requirement of ISO-14001 & 45001 through a calendar and tracker and to implement the Corporate EHS Policy.
• Ensure smooth operation of environment laboratory as per monitoring & measurement plan.
• Provide direction and guidance to the team, and develop team competence.
• Conducting safety committee meetings and management review meeting to enhance participation of staff and workers in safety management.
• Ensure & enable compliance of EHS Surveillances observations, EHS inspections, EHS committee decisions & Global EHS Portal.
• To prepare and communicate the EHS Inspection Schedule of SLT, SLT-1 & EHS professional for each month and completion of observations on monthly basis.
• To ensure compliance to the observations of EHS inspections rounds.
• Enable and ensure safety surveillance team member\'s jobs are completed & documented well in time.
• Ensure HAZOP studies of new/existing products & processes are carried out and availability of HAZOP reports in the safety department.
• Ensure min. 6 hrs training to each employee, on EHS is given and EHS training center is maintained in up-to-date condition.
• Ensure timely reporting of Accident/incident in Global EHS Portal/CAPA tracker and carry out incident investigation, analysis, CAPA etc.
• To assist the Location Head in upgrading Safety management system at site.
• Continuously work for Water conservation & Effluent reduction.
• Co-ordinate with modules for finalizing disposal of Wastes (both liquid, solids), getting generated from all new products.
• Impart training to ETP employees for improving operational skills
