Partner with Asia & Korea FP&A Team to drive and manage performance for overall Asia & Korea
Provide timely & accurate financial information / MIS to enable strategic decision making
Provide coordination and support during Outlook, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles for Asia & Korea in co-operation with FP&A team and Regional / Country finance functions
Analyse business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
Drive effective cost management through a rigorous cost control and investment management process
Ensure support to business stakeholders on regular and ad-hoc management meetings (e.g., Country EXCO, MBR and Board meeting etc)
Support with Aspire project related requirement for Asia & Korea.
Report Generation
Data preparation for financial for PL and balance sheet
Cost & Headcount reporting
Actual / Forecast output reports
ASIA Consolidation reporting
Improve the current reporting
Any specific country level reports
Analysis
Descriptive type analysis including - variance analysis, margin analysis, and Cost analysis
Support on-shore team in drafting key financial commentaries
Month - End Closing and Financial Controls
Support with Manual entries on accruals, reclassifications, ad-hoc adjustments, and account substantiation.
Support with Regional recharges postings
Ensure robust financial processes in place to report revenue, cost and balance sheet in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure compliance with Group / IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines
Influences and challenges issues, providing judgement and assessment of impact of proposed actions / activities on performance and strategy
Uphold the control and compliance culture in the bank
Our Ideal Candidate
Chartered Accountant or MBA with 10+ years of relevant finance experience in FP&A.
Effective communication skills, including presenting and influencing senior management.
Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Solid people and project management skills.
Leadership skills and ability to influence others in decision making.
Relationship and stakeholder management skills is important.
Initiative and proactive thinking
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Qualified accountant or equivalent with significant experience in a variety of commercial and controller ship Finance roles in complex organizations
Good communication skills to coordinate with Countries and Group FP&A
Strong business partner skill and insightful performance management
