The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

Manage CDD teams for multiple regions / countries to ensure effective delivery on behalf of the global GAMs / RMs for the entire FI / Corporate segment of CDD Review and update.

  • To ensure quality of the CIB and CB CDD portfolio is maintained within acceptable parameters as defined by Group and CIB and CB CDD policies and guidelines, Local Country Standards and business strategy.
  • To ensure that the tracking/reporting of information relating to that portfolio is timely and accurate, including stringent application of the overdue / rejection thresholds.
  • To instill a strong analytical culture by setting the highest standards and demanding that these are maintained by others.
  • Responsibilities will relate to the entire CDD portfolio for regions / countries under supervision.
  • Look for opportunities in migration of key CDD processes from different countries into GBS Hub.
Note

The CDD team will source and prepare CDD records for ultimate approval by GAMs - where the responsibility for \xe2\x80\x98knowing the customer\xe2\x80\x99 lies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Works with existing team members to ensure needs are fulfilled on an ongoing basis. Specifically,
  • Work in close coordination with the all internal stakeholders, identify and deliver Project, Process improvements, as applicable.
  • Develop a metrics based DNA for functional performance measurements to facilitate identification of opportunities for process improvements.
  • Improve Quality Control functions through frequent review of Error metrics and analysis of rejection rates.
  • Support delivery improvement projects through Software enhancements and through other suitable methodologies.
  • Manage the teams to deliver high quality of CDDs.
  • Ensure Review / Renewal of CDDs well before the review date.
  • Develop working relationship with GAM / CRC / C&A / FCC CRM teams in other countries / Regions.
  • Liaise and work closely with the Risk Team, CAM, GIA, Regulators and External Audit from time to time during their review.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • A focused individual who is an excellent communicator with good team skills, who has the ability to influence others by showing initiative and creativity.
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry with significant experience managing large teams.
  • Understanding of the Financial Services Industry and its various underlying products.
  • Understanding of the CIB and CB and Customer Relationships business generally and across CIB and CB Customer base.
  • Problem Solving Skills - ability to think \xe2\x80\x98Out of the Box\xe2\x80\x99 and independently work around issues that arise from time to time.
  • Knowledge of the CDD / eCDD systems and processes and of the different requirements of certain countries desirable.
  • Project Management capability particularly on Migration of Processes from other countries / regions.
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in AML domain.
