KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development and Key Account Management

\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales & revenue targets for assigned territory

\xef\x82\xb7 Leads new customer acquisition within the assigned customer and prospect base, while retaining

and growing key existing accounts

\xef\x82\xb7 Implements marketing strategies; by analyzing trends, market mapping, competitor analysis to

enable effective decisioning and forecasting of sales numbers

\xef\x82\xb7 Acts as a product expert, leveraging internal knowledge to build trust and respect with both internal

and external customers

\xef\x82\xb7 Takes complete Ownership of existing accounts from Lead Generation to Delivery of final service

offering.

\xef\x82\xb7 Builds and maintains strong business relationships with Corporates by signing MOU\'s with them for

Self-Ratings/ Corporate Profiling/ Sectoral Study Reports/Business Information Reports/D-U-N-S

Verified Reports etc.

\xef\x82\xb7 Organizes theme-based events and ensuring participation of CXO/CFO Level contacts as part of the

new customer acquisition Strategy.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensures timely renewal of all the existing accounts if assigned and explore cross selling and

upgrading opportunities.

\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for the overall accounts receivables for assigned region.

Internal Use Only

Operations

\xef\x82\xb7 Always ensure process adherence and error free timely delivery of projects.

\xef\x82\xb7 Liaising with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the end product and ensuring the service

expectations of the customers are met.

\xef\x82\xb7 Maintaining the data / client contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically.

\xef\x82\xb7 Progress Reviews and Forecasting Reports are filed periodically as required by the Management.

\xef\x82\xb7 Regular update of all the activities in the tools provided and track the movement of all such activities

People Management

\xef\x82\xb7 Lead from the front, developing strong personal rapport and credibility with the team by leveraging

senior client relationships and bringing in business

\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for Training and handholding of new team members, accompany them for customer

meetings

\xef\x82\xb7 Creates an atmosphere of trust and transparency within the team

\xef\x82\xb7 Needs to have a coaching and mentoring mindset towards junior team members/ associates/

reportee\'s

\xef\x82\xb7 Possess the right attitude to work in cohesion with counterparts and colleagues

\xef\x82\xb7 Will work under the direct supervision of Regional Manager

2. KEY REQUIREMENTS

\xef\x82\xb7 MBA or any post-graduation with relevant experience of 10 years in business development.

\xef\x82\xb7 Should have good knowledge of the local commercial and Industrial Belts.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to comprehend and analyze financial statements.

\xef\x82\xb7 Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation

skills suitable for a global corporate environment.

\xef\x82\xb7 Should not have apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for the interest of business.

\xef\x82\xb7 Strong analytical skills and ability to provide value added insights.

\xef\x82\xb7 Possesses excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills

Primary External Interactions:

MD/Directors, CXO\'s, Proprietors, Industry Chambers and Corporate Associations etc.

Internal Interactions

Operations, Finance, HR, Facility, IT Infrastructure, Heads of Other SBU

Competencies:
