Key Accountabilities:

Acts as Business Analyst. In this role,

  • Analyzes and supports the design and optimization of R&D functional processes and data flows, implements process improvements in the systems
  • Collects information from SMEs, documents business requirements, and translates them precisely into technical requirements thereby ensuring that systems/platforms fit the functional requirements
  • Implements process/workflow design(s) incl. necessary business process analyses and data integrations
  • Supports the System Owner in solution design, creating functional specifications


Acts as Project Manager. In this role,
  • Runs IT implementation projects (incl. GxP requirements) independently and in close collaboration with the System Owner(s) and data stewards as well as stakeholders from functional business areas
  • Manages project budgets and ensures targets are met
  • Owns the project plan of his/her projects and ensures deliverables are provided in time
  • Manages project staffing, both within project team and with third-party resources (e.g. vendors)
  • Coordinates tasks and communication both within and outside of the project team (incl. cross-functional and functional teams), ensuring communication with all relevant stakeholders
  • Uses and delivers standard project mgmt. tools and reports (project plan, status updates, risk assessments, communications)
  • Pro-actively assesses and mitigates project risks


Education
  • Higher degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., computer science, engineering, natural sciences, pharmacy, and/or business administration) or related work experience in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent data management background
  • Trained in technology project management methods and standards
  • Sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical market


Work Experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical company or service provider, thereof at least 3 years in Regulatory Affairs
  • Demonstrated IT project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Regulatory information / data management (xEVMPD, IDMP) and associated IT systems (RIMS)
  • Process management mindset
  • Experience in Veeva RIM is a plus
  • Sound experience in qualification and validation activities of IT solutions
  • Fluent command of spoken and written English
  • Strong organizational skills and independent working

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills incl. quick comprehension
