Position: Sr. Manager Content (Editorial)
Location: Bangalore, India
Position Background:
Professionals who have a passion for developing content. The retail social commerce platform is moving towards an age of developing content that engages the customer. Developing content where you infuse images and features called out in a manner where the customer makes an informed buying decision - content thus created has a lasting impact.
The content Sr. Manager would need to evaluate all aspects of the content to understand if it is customer-centric. Ensure that the content on the website is as per Woovly standards and customer-centric. Coach and train content writers to improve language and tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities:
Management of a team of Content writers, including performance management and professional development.
Develop the information our customers need, determine when and how best to communicate with them, and do so in a friendly, caring, and understandable manner.
Drive the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for content in your product area.
Work with the writers on your team to make sure content is implemented to deliver against the strategy and to standards.
Use data and customer feedback to measure the effectiveness of the content strategy and pivot as needed in real-time.
Work with the Content Community of Practice team to define, develop, and implement content strategy frameworks, toolkits and guidelines, with the aim of developing world-class experiences at scale.
Coordinate content with Brand, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure we create a consistent end-to-end experience.
Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real results.
Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, terminology, writing, and style.
Reach across disciplines and departments to demonstrate how content can be used to create lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers.
Qualifications:
Experience writing for multiple channels and platforms, such as websites, apps, email, and social media for at least 6 years. You know how and when to use a particular medium.
Experience managing and mentoring writers and editors.
You see products and solutions as part of a customer's larger journey and you seek to deeply understand that journey through research and data analysis.
You understand brand and marketing methodologies
You have a track record of positioning content as an engagement tool that transforms customer relationships.
You have a history of knocking down organizational obstacles and building sustaining frameworks and partnerships.
