Position Summary

  • Data Quality Manager will work with the Director of Finance Data, Strategy & Legacy Systems and will execute the analysis, design, and implementation of data quality initiatives
  • Define data measures, thresholds, rules, and controls and will be responsible to plan, create and maintain appropriate business rules documentation
  • Lead Data Quality Analysis including Completeness, validity, timeliness, volume & trends
  • Design Data Quality Framework (DQF) which provides an industry-developed best practices guide for the improvement of data quality and allows the organization to better leverage the data quality programs and to ensure a continuously improving cycle for the generation of master data
  • Identify Data Quality issues as they occur, along with any risks, mitigation plan and proactive vulnerabilities within the database
  • Monitor progress of all Data Quality project related tasks against specified metrics and timelines
  • Support project resources in design and development of project solutions
  • Produce timely progress indicators and dashboards for a project around the data quality
  • Coordinate with BAU Data Quality Analysts as required
  • Good knowledge and experience in Customer Hierarchy mapping along with Strategy Master Data Solutions
  • Leading and managing delivery of the Data Quality Management roadmap, focused on the strategic build-out of the new Data Quality Management function and aligning the function to the Target Operating Model
  • Proactive data analysis and identify need to data cleansing and enrichment.
  • Perform Process Controls & documentation, Quality Check. etc.
  • Understanding of the process and nuances of different entities, understanding of entity specific norms etc.
  • Establish and facilitate cross-functional Data Governance vision & expectations
  • Should have abilities to perform quality audits on timely basis to validate and ensure the process in executed with error free and high-quality data standards.
  • Supply chain knowledge is good to have

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of data quality matching rules and transformations like standardizer, parser, and labeling along with match and exceptional record handling experience
  • Good knowledge on overall Data Quality End to End life cycle with real-time problem-solving sense.
  • Must be aware of Data Quality dimensions and their implementation in any DQ tool
  • Will be responsible for analyzing and understanding data sources and end-user requirements using the data quality tools
  • Will be responsible for system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
  • Manage and respond to escalated inquiries
  • Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
  • Documents the implemented solutions

  • Assures data availability, consistency, and accuracy in Digital Core & other ERPs
  • Helps to resolve technical problems, manages the data improvement process as part of data remediation
  • Proactively identifies new potential data sources and assess feasibility of ingesting
  • Develops tangible and ongoing standardization, simplification and efficiency of engineering processes, reviewing and revising continuous improvement opportunities
  • Assures a high quality and comprehensive data flow and manage a team that provides a consumption layer where the business has access to all the data it needs
  • Ensures all data is compliant
  • Ensures that all data acquired is fully described/understood and communicated using appropriate tools
  • Productionise any tactical data feeds, including documentation
  • Using Azure databricks & ADF pipelines for DQ rules coding and deploying using automated CI/CD pipelines.

  • Provide leadership and management to a team of data quality engineers, managing processes and their flow of work, vetting their designs, and mentoring them to realize their full potential.
  • Engages with team members, uses informal and structured approaches to career development to focus on individual improvement/capabilities, and to provide balanced feedback.
  • Ability to lead, manage, build, and deliver customer business results through data quality engineering team. Including leading of large geo distributed orgs that includes managers
  • Hiring and conducting interviews to onboard team members to build Data Quality team
  • As a people manager involve in assessing team member performance and providing feedback for improvement and growth
  • Mentor a diverse team of junior data quality engineer in tools, and concepts. Provides guidance and leadership to junior data quality engineer

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Position Requirements:
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business or a related field
  • A minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Quality Management tools and technologies
  • Expert knowledge of developing DQ framework, systems, processes, controls, and capabilities with a strong focus on understanding what data the business needs and how they use that data, ultimately ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and quality accessibility of all data on an ongoing basis
  • Significant experience in delivering Data Quality initiatives
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritizing own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated abilities to think outside-of-the-box
  • Demonstrated abilities to communicate professionally and effectively regarding difficult and complex issues

Preferred Requirements/Competencies

  • Certification in Data Governance technologies for data quality, ETL
  • Previous experience in database development and testing
  • Business analysis experience

People Management Experience:
