Continuously initiates, supports and coaches Lean activities and structural optimizations, for all indirect - non-production related processes.
Qualification - B.E./ B.Tech Mechanical / Industrial / Composites
Industry Preferred - Wind Energy, Power, Automotive, Electrical/Electronics manufacturing.
Experience - 7 - 10 years

Desired experience:

  • This is an Individual Contributor role & the incumbent will be closely coordinating with cross functional and global lean teams -as a Change agent.
  • Must be Six Sigma Green Belt certified with experience of working in factory / manufacturing environment, preferably may have completed 5-6 Lean project roll-out cycles.
  • Should have experience in conducting Kaizen events.
  • Must have experience in OPEX indirect spend control - cost saving projects, helping in automation.


Key result areas:
  • Drive and support all Lean activities in the defined area of responsibility.
  • Deploy Lean standards, and description of methods and processes, and respective documentation.
  • Consult operations staff, and accountable management in Lean topics, and derives Lean opportunities.
  • Analyze processes or disruptions, identify weak points, develop solutions and support implementation.
  • Propose Lean projects, and evaluates costs / benefits and oversees its\xc2\xb4 roll out.
  • Monitor and track improvement, triggered by Lean programs, and provides respective reporting to all stakeholders.
  • Prepare, distribute and train subject and method knowledge, and shares about best practices.
  • Participate in work groups / projects, and moderates meetings and workshops.
