• Maintain Synamedia's Artifactory environment which consists of servers located in multiple geographic locations. Always striving for minimal to zero downtime.
• Providing support to Artifactory users. Troubleshooting user issues.
• Provisioning for users and teams, managing permissions. Ensuring security, reliability, and availability.
• Engaging closely with architects and developers to support and improve the software lifecycle.
• Working in partnership with cross-functional IT teams to achieve complex maintenance and support tasks.
• Develop automation and frameworks to improve operational processes and procedures.
• Modernize the deployment, monitoring, and testing of Artifactory services.
• Document system aspects, admin solutions, and user solutions.
• Escalate issues to the Artifactory vendor.
• Support escalations as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Jfrog Artifactory.
• Experience in Artifactory provisioning.
• Experience in Artifactory integration in automated builds.
• Experience integrating Artifactory with various build tools (Maven, Jenkins Pipeline, Docker)
• In-depth, Linux system administration experience. Experience with Bash scripting.
• Must be flexible, collaborative, have strong initiative and be a clear communicator.
• High sense of responsibility.

Having these strengths is a plus:

• Working knowledge of* Jenkins and GitHub.*
• Experience in SW build and delivery systems. Knowledge of enterprise solution methodologies.
• Troubleshooting skills in all levels
• Experience in automated-deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of large-scale services with various underlying dependencies in a complex environment.
• Knowledge and experience of Application and Infrastructure Delivery automation, orchestration, and configuration management.
• Experience with physical and virtual Networking.
• Continued establishment of best in class DevOps development, automation and deployment practices, policies and standards.
• User management - LDAP, SSO
• Network knowledge - TCP/IP, DNS, NTP
• Python programming

Other Preferred Skills:

• Experience maintaining Subversion, Gerrit, Docker Registries, Git LFS and* Coverity*.
• Experience managing Cloud migrations and operating within cloud environments. (VMware, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud)
• Experience with AWS and OpenStack a plus.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (BASH, Ruby, Python, Perl etc.)
• Experience operating and troubleshooting VMs in a virtual environment
• Experience with Application Load balancing and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with HAProxy, Nginx, ELK,
• Ansible
• Groovy
