As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Have experience with programming, configuration, and commissioning of DeltaV and Rockwell ControlLogix platforms which include:
  • DeltaV Configuration Software Suite
  • DeltaV Live Graphics Studio
  • Rockwell Studio 5000 Logix Designer
  • Rockwell Studio 5000 View
  • Have exposure to IEC 61131 standard programming languages, including Function Block, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text, and Ladder Logic
  • Be familiar with class-based programming and bulk editing techniques
  • Design and configuration of high-performance graphics based on human centered design standards
  • Experience in Setup, administration, and maintenance of virtualized programming environment for multiple teams and platforms
  • Well versed in industry standards and best practices for control system hardware and software design, and basic and advanced process control
  • Control system programming for medium and large-scale projects (~30,000 I/O) in mining, metals/mineral processing, oil and gas, power generation and infrastructure sectors
  • Demonstrate experience in Programming, configuration, validation, and testing of DCS, PLC and HMI applications based on functional specifications, Control narratives and P&IDs
  • Control system staging, software testing and development of formal test planning and reporting
  • Familiar with industrial communication protocols and configuration of Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP interfaces to intelligent starters, variable speed drives, and packaged control systems.
  • Configuration of OPC UA interfaces to process simulators, historian software, power and energy management systems, and machine health monitoring system
  • Any knowledge or familiarity of Configuration of process simulation software for control system testing and operator training, including IDEAS simulation software, and Mimic simulation software.
  • Knowledge or working experience with SQL, Visual Basic
You bring to the role:

Essential
  • B.Tech./ B.E. in Electrical/ Electronics or Instrumentation engineering from a recognized University
  • Extensive experience 10 years and above
  • Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment
  • Understanding of other discipline interfaces and requirements
  • Sound knowledge of industry or regulatory codes and standards as well as good knowledge of workflows for Instrumentation systems
  • Understanding of other discipline requirements.
  • Willingness to stretch, take ownership, quality conscious.
  • Openness to do multitasking
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
