DATA_AND_ANALYTICS Role/Responsibilities
The Moody’s Finance Transformation, Data & Systems team is looking to fill a role focused on supporting the demand in the Business Intelligence & Analytics team. This role has the responsibility of supporting delivery of intermediate level BI, and collaborative tools and providing project level support for the BI&A team.
Functional Responsibilities
» Support the execution of data and analytics requests from the Finance organization.
» Collaborate in the creation of Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate) production-ready analytical tools to support repeatable and reusable processes, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables.
» Build, develop and maintain data models, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
» Facilitate current state assessment (process mapping), document business and technical requirements
» Support cross-functional initiatives Qualifications
» Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field
» 3+ years of business experience
» Interpersonal skills: be proactive, self-driven with strong collaboration skills, requiring minimal supervision; promotes a diverse and inclusive work environment; be open and welcoming to change; be a creative and strategic thinker, have an ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
» Proficiency in Power BI, including modelling skills and a good understanding of DAX
» Able to work with members of other teams across the organization and be sensitive to their needs and obligations
» Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience preparing executive-level presentations
» Process driven with some understanding of agile/lean six sigma methodologies
» Able to pick up new software quickly and self-train utilizing all available training and internet resources
» Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus
» Proficient with SQL, MDX, or other querying language is a plus
» Experience in building and deploying cloud BI in platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus
