Chartering Executive
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the marketing and business development of the chartering business which includes actively negotiating and booking vessels and handling charter and tender agreements, vessel and scenario planning, and ensuring close coordination with the operations team on voyage execution
Doing Voyage and Time Charter calculations
Establish excellent working relationships with clients
Develop and implement marketing and chartering strategies to provide integrated services to meet clients requirements
Monitor market conditions and chartering rates in the industry and reporting of major contracts and outcomes of tender awards
Provide monthly marketing reports and analyses to management, including voyage performance reviews, port charges, and expenditures
Develop, negotiate, and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all finalized terms of projects and business
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good network and contacts with key VESSEL OWNERS ( AHTS, VLGC, VLCC, SURZ MAX, etc.)
Proven track record in Tanker chartering
Ability to work independently
Ability to accept new challenges
Flexibility and ability to adapt and learn
Should have a strong connection with vessel owners
Who owns AHTS and other vessel used by ONGC & GAIL
Candidates with proven track records will ONLY be considered
