About the role

Job Responsibilities
As a regulatory expert you will be responsible to develop and execute Amp's utility business policy and regulatory strategy.

• Tracking various regulatory development, updates and analysing the impact of the same

on the project portfolio.

• Review the guidelines, notifications, circulars and regulations issued by the regulator

from time to time and highlight to management the relevant and critical points and
impact of the same to our business.

• Formulation of Regulatory strategy.

• Review and comment on various policy issued by GOI or any other authority time to time.

• Review and comment on draft regulations issued by regulators.

• Managing regulatory matters including Petition drafting & filing, hearing &

representations, tariff calculation, PPA vetting, statutory clearances & compliance;
strategic planning & management; liaison & coordination; external correspondences &
representation with project stake holders & government bodies.

• Responsible for preparing high-quality presentation materials on policy outcomes for

important utility-client meetings.

• Managing project related regulatory compliances & policy framework.

• Representing AMP in the various forms including DISCOMS, conferences, workshops,

and external stakeholder consultations. Educational Qualifications . B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics /Mechanical/ Power System Engineering Work Experience . 4-7 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy industry Other Skills . Critical-thinking skills- must be able to examine and process available information and
draw logical conclusions from their findings.
