We are looking for an Senior Executive-Customer Service that will handle the following :
Handling customer’s enquiry for sailing schedules, shipment status (cargo tracking), container receivables and availability, verification of payments & release of export BLs and import EDOs and other general enquiries
Assign customer emails in line with the SmartCS procedures
Respond to general enquiries for all import and export general queries and close the enquiry via the SmartCS application
Provide updates to customers on change of vessel schedules and planned cargo movements
Liaise with operations for planned and unplanned changes
Provide new sales or trade leads to the sales team
Promote and support ZIM’s e-commerce products to customers
Coordinate with the documentation team for resolution of complex inquiries or out of scope services and respond to the customer accordingly
Obtain acceptance of additional service fees from customers prior to authorizing the requested service
Requirements:
You will need to have :
Bachelor Degree in Merchant Marine Trade, Business Administration or related fields (preferred)
1-3 year experience in shipping and logistics business
Good computer software skill (EXCEL, WORD)
Good communications skills
