Sr. Executive - Customer Service - Gen FF (Chennai)

About the Role

Responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer requirements. Responsible for the preparation of appropriate and accurate logistics reports for upper management. Monitor deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.


Roles and Responsibilities

• Business confirmation from the supplier, coordination with Carrier for Booking/forward booking to client & CHA/Follow up for container number, SI/VGM.
• Coordinate with the documentation team for Submitting SI to carrier online or thru INTRA.
• Coordinate with the documentation team for Submitting VGM thru ODEX or on the Carrier website.
• Opening of booking notes in software once the business is confirmed and follow-up with the documentation team on opening JOBS till completion of the job.
• Checking carrier invoices and giving ok to the documentation team for submitting the request to accounts for payment
• Get the BLS released from the carrier.
• Sending shipping line payment receipts to accounts.
• Arrange delivery of the original BLS to the client.
• Billing instructions to be submitted to accounts.
• Documentation for LCL/FCL Containers
• Sending original invoices by courier to client and job closing
• Online Bidding for some clients
• Preparing/Sending DSR to the client.

• Experience with documentation knowledge and customer coordination
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word & Excel
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree. Additional diploma in Export-Import Management preferred.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in cs documentation profile.
