Position Summary:
Manage B2C sales for Springer Nature books through eCommerce players and the Special pricing projects for the India market.

Responsibilities:
Commercial:
- Achieve/Surpass budget expectations for the role
- Develop and implement sales strategy for the respective business in collaboration with the Sales Director
- Own and grow the textbook adoption program in Print and E.
- Responsible for named accounts
- Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities for print and eBooks
- Manage special pricing (EPZ) business and coordinate for print on demand (POD) India business
- Visit Institutions to explore opportunities for the business
- Deliver monthly sales reports and monthly forecasts to the Sales Director
- Share regional market information/trends with Trade Sales team/colleagues
- Close collaboration with colleagues in Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service/Fulfillment, Logistics, Data and Finance
Qualification:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma
- Good sales & negotiation skills
- Must be well organized, collaborative and self-motivated
- Must be able to work with deadlines
- Strong communication & English language skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Required to work on company softwares and ERP solutions
- Willing to travel as required
