We are looking to hire a Senior Executive Global Product Compliance- Beauty & Wellbeing, and Personal Care in our Global Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, R&D team based in Unilever Mumbai /Bangalore / Gurgaon

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a permanent basis as GPC B&W and PC Senior Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compliance program and regulatory business processes for B&W and PC Business Groups. You will be responsible in delivering, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of compliance processes in collaboration with internal and external teams and stakeholders. You should have a keen digital mindset and fast learning ability to pick up digital tools and applications related to RA and R&D processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective project execution, delivering compliance, data governance and driving digital transformation agenda.

To translate this mission efficiently into action, and to ensure that Unilever complies with its own high standards as well as with the technical aspects of legislation, is the task of the Global Product Compliance team. The GPC is part of the Regulatory Affairs Organization in R&D.

The team supports the whole Unilever portfolio, deals with a high variety in compliance activities and interacts with many functions in Unilever.

The RA GPC Beauty & Wellbeing, Personal Care Senior Executive will be accountable for the overall Compliance of these business groups along with development and deployment of Regulatory processes and digital tools.

JOB SUMMARY

Supporting B&W and PC Compliance Programs in GPC

Perform, execute, and deliver Product Information File (PIF) program/cosmetic safety reports for SEAA, China, EU, MET in collaboration with internal and external teams.

Supporting Government Audits for all the above regions.

End to end tracking, monitoring, and reporting of compliance processes in B&W and PC Business groups.

Manage external partner to deliver externalized PIF activities \xe2\x80\x93 keep SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and processes up-to-date. Conduct trainings, track performance and gaps.

Supporting Regulatory Product Compliance Assessments (e.g., raw material, formulation, artwork, packaging, registration/documentation, and impact assessment) via interpretation of existing cosmetics regulations in line with B&W and PC business strategy.

Assist the compliance manager in monitoring and interpretation of changes in cosmetics regulations in Unilever markets that may impact on the B&W and PC business and advise the business on eventual risks and/or corrective actions to ensure compliance.

Supporting Digital Agendas for B&W and PC Business Groups

Supporting the Governance, Enhancements & Maintenance of Regulatory Affairs Suite of Tools (PREF, FAST, RADAR and many more).

Champion global deployment, usage, and sustenance of RA digital tools for B&W and PC Business Groups for North Asia, South Asia, Indonesia, ANZ, SEA, Europe and Africa regions.

Drive the Digital Transformation initiatives through assisting in development/ adoption of necessary digital tools/ processes (and their deployment), and continuous education to users and stakeholders.

Assist the compliance manager in identify newer opportunities of externalization and digitalization in RA/R&D regulatory processes and rollouts in newer geographies/categories.

Responsible for the design and deployment of the existing tools and processes aiming at optimization of cost and quality.

Drive content management initiative in RA tools for B&W and PC and assist in global expansion plans.

Manage various regulatory databases/ repositories to ensure continued compliance of the product/ formulation/ RM and packaging portfolio.

Support to Identify and evaluate external Regulatory Change Management service providers to help maintain/ update regulatory content in RA applications.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with internal and external regulatory and compliance experts to drive B&W PC compliance programs effectively.

Collaborate with RA, R&D, SEAC, Legal and external partners to deliver PIF reports OTIF.

Partnering with various functions globally including R&D, RA, DRD, UniOps team and other non-R&D functions to lead the development of digital tools.

Internal - Business Groups RA and R&D, QA, Procurement, SC, Digital and Partnership teams, MCOs, CPC teams, GPC Business Groups, GPC Partnerships teams, Business Unit RA, Managers/members

External - IT suppliers, Regulatory Affairs professional partners, Business Process partners, Regulatory Data providers, Third Party Manufacturers

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Good understanding of RA and R&D processes \xe2\x80\x93 Formulations, Raw Material Specifications, Fragrance Documents, Artworks etc.

Good knowledge on Global Regulations & Standards.

Digital mindset; appreciation of data, tools, automation etc.

Hands on experience of working with PLM/SAP is highly preferable.

Ability to translate business requirements and data into key insights that can be used for Compliance deliveries, process optimization and tool development/deployment.

Proficiency in the use of data mining, global trends etc. to drive more meaningful insights.

Proficient in MS Excel and Sharepoint.

Attention to detail, tenacity, ability to recognize, question and resolve discrepancies.

Very well organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and confident

Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

Ability to work across teams and cultures in a collaborative way.

EDUCATION

Minimum Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree, M.S or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biological Science, or equivalent or a related field (or equivalent experience).
