We are headquartered in Watertown, US, and our India offices are in Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer to join our Enterprise Data Team within our athenaIT division in Bangalore. Your job will be to build Integrations and data pipelines for the data team and its stakeholders. Help us reach our goal of becoming the healthcare backbone by enhancing our cloud-based EHR solution and leveraging the network effect of 85,400+ providers. Apply your technical skills towards allowing doctors to be doctors so that they can spend more time doing what they do best: provide patient care. But enough about us let\'s talk about you. Position Overview: You are a developer who is a fast learner, well versed in programming languages like Python, and has good experience working as a backend data engineer (Good with writing Stored Procs) and professional with ETL tools like Informatica. You must be able to guide and mentor a set of junior developers to groom their capabilities. You will be partnering with Product and Business leadership on a day-to-day basis for requirements and prioritization. You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence. Team: Enterprise Data team within AthenaIT where we help in Integrating data between different applications and load the data into the data lake. You also need to support the implementation of a next-gen billing platform that enables complex business models at scale and with financial integrity. Job Responsibilities: Act as the subject matter expert for an area of assignment Participate in scrum teams following practices outlined by the team. Contribute to agile ceremonies to improve team performance. Coordinate and troubleshoot complex technical issues until resolution. Understand and follow engineering conventions, architectures, and best practices. Own the lifecycle of an issue from start to finish, ensuring proactive communication with our customers and the backend engineering teams Proactively identify and proposes new, alternative technology to create scalable implementations and achieve results. Advise and train members of the team to maximize overall productivity and effectiveness of the team. Typical Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in an engineering role (in the role of an ETL developer ) Experience in an Agile environment preferred. Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent in Computer science or related fields Significant software engineering skills and computer science experience Expert knowledge of Informatica ETL Tool ( IICS, Informatica Power Center, Real-Time Integrations, Data Governance ) Good experience with Python Programming Responsible for coding, designing, deploying, and debugging development projects, typically on the server side (or back-end) using Python. Expert knowledge of Web Services/API (REST, SOAP) protocols Working knowledge of at least one RDBMS platform such as Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL Exposure to SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Salesforce Wave, Salesforce Cloud Coach, Eloqua, Workday, Kenexa, Oracle Fusion Apps, Cornerstone, Service Now, and Jira Good backend development experience and ability to write Stored Procs.
