Introduction: We are looking for a Senior AB initio developer to join the engineering team at USCB Marketing and communications division. As a member of engineering team you will continue to build, extend, innovative our banking solutions and capabilities. To be successful in this role, you must be a code author and craftsman, be responsible for code delivery in a timely and accurate fashion, and drive the overall sprint and epic goals. You are expected to produce a high volume of quality code along with your team. What will you be doing . As an A I developer, possess excellent Knowledge of Ab Initio stack and its implementation in AWS . Technical Design and development of ETL/DWH and Analytics services /components . Contribute in end to end architecture and process flow . Understand Business requirement and publish reusable designs . Result oriented approach with ability to provide apt solutions. . Proficient in performance improvement & fine-tuning ETL and DWH implementations . Conduct code reviews across projects. Takes responsibility for ensuring that build and code adhere to architectural and quality standards and policies. . Can work independently with minimum supervision. . Strong analytical and problem solving skills . Experience/Exposure to SQL, advanced SQL skills . Driving the design and delivery of ETL platform What we\'re looking for: . Relevant years of Hands-on experience with Ab Initio . Abinitio Co Op 2.X/3.0/3.2/3.3 / . Abinitio Conduct It . A I Enterprise Meta Environment . Worked with various file types (EBCIDIC, ASCII, XML, JSON) using Abinitio . Standard batch processing knowledge is required - Change data capture, delta, snapshot processing etc. . Should have used advanced components in Abinitio like ICFF, Dynamic look ups, normalize, scan with roll up . Strong basics in using Abinitio in LINUX/UNIX environments Should be able to write and decipher basic shell scripts . Good experience with Ab Initio implementation in AWS environment . Working experience in Data modelling along with Data architecture . Strong Understanding of Data warehousing and Data lakes . Experience in Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL Server and PL/SQL, No SQL databases such as Mongo DB and Big Data technologies (HDFS, HIVE, Impala, Scala, Spark, PIG etc) . Experienced in job scheduling tools such as Tivoli (TWS) . Should be able to work in an agile environment with evolving demands and increasing expectations . Understanding of Agile methodologies as well as SDLC life-cycles and processes. Skills that will help you in the role: . Exposure in Performance Tuning/ Investigations . Promote Automation, reusable components . Experience in other A I products like MHUB, Express IT, Control Centre, Query IT . Aware of Real time- continuous flow Abinitio graphs and previous experience in developing the same. . Strong skills on ETL design patterns and integration architecture for Middleware design and implementation . Experience in BI tools such as Tableau/QlikView/Actuate . Experience of Barclays systems, data, products, and processes . Ability to understand business requirements and design software solutions. . Strong data analysis skills and ability to present the findings to the business users. . Very Good communication and organizational skills . Quick learner: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with numerous tasks simultaneously and with frequently changing priorities. . Banking domain experience .
