SENIOR ENTERPRISE ANALYST - DEV TOOLS

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 5+ years experience in Administration and Integrating DevOps Tools including access control, security architecture, configuration of authorization objects, and roles/user administration
  • 5+ years experience in Configure, manage, and enhance Atlassian On-Prem and Cloud tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Bitbucket) as well as CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Sumologic, including native functionality as well as researching, testing, and implementing plugins
  • 5+ years experience in Create projects, scripts, queries, reports, custom workflows, security schemes, post functions, and validators, make changes to workflows, screens/boards, fields, and reporting, and provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance for tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub and AzureDevOps
  • 2+ years experience troubleshooting technical issues to establish the root cause of problems and form a solution or workaround across a range of environments.
  • 2+ years experience in maintain current versioning of toolset and coordinate server updates and patching of toolsets.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience gathering requirements, understanding business processes, and implementing application software
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Learn to operate with a "total service" mindset; in all interactions - for both the process and technical health of the application portfolio managed by the team
  • Basic understanding of most dependencies, interfaces and services required by assigned components and other related areas of the system
  • Estimates and plans own work
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define/document business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems and process issues.
  • Gain practical working knowledge of ways business users leverage existing systems and processes.
  • Lead requirements sessions (sometimes facilitated) in order to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
  • Create process flows, requirement specifications/story definition, diagrams, and charts to provide as input direction to software engineers.
  • Perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
  • Support, and potentially conduct orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems as needed in a way they can easily learn and apply
  • Perform simple to moderately complex configuration activities in platform supported
Scope of Impact / Degree of Independence
  • Works independently on small to moderately complex projects/assignments that have direct impact on department and area results. Receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues
  • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may cause delays in program schedules and may require some expenditure of resources to rectify

  • Performs professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly defined issues
  • Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve
  • Plans most aspects of work within specified deadlines with some need to change the priorities
