General Summary: Skills & Experience Required : 3-6 years of experience as Test Engineer: Test execution, Test Case development, Requirement understanding etc. Experience into designing and developing test cases for new and existing features for Automotive programs. Hands-on experience of working into Automotive domain, should have good hold on basic and advanced features. Should have good understanding on standard features like FOTA, Voice Call, SMS, Security, SIM features. Work closely with the development team to understand new features and develop high quality test cases. Well averse with Linux and ADB commands (adb shell, push, pull etc), flashing builds through fastboot commands. Experience of capturing logs: serial logs, logread, logcat, dmesg, kmesg, QXDM logs. Experience of using standard bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla. Technical problem solving and debugging ability. Proficient written and verbal communications skills. Self-starter and problem solver who is creative, enthusiastic, collaborative, and innovative with debugging and good communication skills. Candidate should show a good understanding and interest on scripting on those platforms. (Preferred Python automation experience). Experience of using Qualcomm tools like QFIL, PCAT, QXDM. Software and hardware troubleshooting. Able to come up to speed on new hardware, understand peripherals and sensors.
