Role Profile

The Senior Engineer will be required to provide project, maintenance, and support for multiple security tools across the group! This role will be heavily Unix focused by providing engineering lvl3 support for Privileged Access Management. In return, you will be part of a close team with a track record of success, working on different projects, with multiple opportunities to expand and learn new security skills

Role Responsibilities

• Deployment of Beyondtrust Password Safe and Privileged Management for Unix/Linux.
• Deployment of Endpoint Privileged Management.
• Development of Remote Desktop Server Farm to publish password-controlled applications.
• Bring together opportunities to automate PAM and Endpoint Privileged Management related processes and feedback to engineering for implementation.
• Improving PAM automation through API use.
• Maintain and improve existing security solutions including Symantec, Forcepoint, Varonis, and Zscaler.
• Improve third line engineering support
• Development of security operations for monitoring, testing, audit and compliance of the organisations infrastructure.
• Design, coordinate and lead all aspects of security testing of infrastructure to verify the security of system and drive the remediation of identified vulnerabilities
• Provide security risk assessment and recommendations, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to protect the business, and our customers

Required technical skills.

• RedHat Linux (version 5 through to 9)
• Powershell scripting and Python
• Experience of Unix/Linux security concepts and standards
• Beyondtrust Password Safe Administration
• PowerBroker for Unix /Linux Administration

Desirable technical skills

• VMware, SRM
• Solaris 10 and 11 experience a distinct advantage.
• Jenkins Automation
• Puppet Configuration Management
• Ansible Automation and IT Tasks

You should be an authority in Enterprise Unix/Linux technologies! Able to think out of the box, with a broad knowledge of technologies, without being vendor specific, and with a can do demeanor.
