About this Job:

You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Roles and responsibilities include enterprise application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Rationale:

We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer to join our engineering team. If you have a passion for building top-notch, scalable products and have PL/SQL programming experience, we're looking for you to join us in our Chennai Technology Hub!

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL techniques to write stored procedures, triggers and packages that analyze several million rows across several database tables
• Ability to grasp relational data models quickly and program using SQL and PL/SQL
• Strong understanding of dynamic SQL and ability to write complex procedures
• Optimize and tune stored procedures, and embedded SQL
• Data Partitioning techniques to manage, support and performance tune very large databases
• Understanding of features of Oracle to dramatically reduce response times for data intensive operations
• Need to have hands on experience on performance tuning concepts
• Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams
• Experience of configuration management tools (GIT), configuration concepts and continuous integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo)

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of software development experience using SQL, PL/SQL
• Very good communication skills & the ability to work seamlessly with Global stakeholders
• Good understanding of SQL concepts & query tuning
• In-depth understanding of design concepts & the ability to write performance-oriented code
• Experience of working in transformation projects would be an added advantage
• Experience in leveraging and using tools like JIRA, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Confluence etc.,
• Experience in agile software development practices and DevOps
