:

Lead, coach, train, and facilitate, cost, quality and lead time improvement projects

Perform assessments identifying key areas for improvement opportunities

Build and strengthen supplier relationships

Create, implement, and maintain detailed actions plans relative to supplier development activities for all assigned suppliers

Drive continuous improvement activities to implement best practices, establish standard work, and eliminate variation and waste to improve performance.

Direct and manage both commercial and technical aspects of fabricated and out sourced parts and components

Recommend to Category Managers and Buyers, suppliers that meet the quality and technical capabilities required.

Act as technical interface between component/production suppliers, category managers and development engineers.

Investigate alternate component technologies or suppliers for reduced cost and improved quality/reliability and implementing changes when appropriate

Participate in component design review and give recommendation to Value Stream Teams
