Job Title Senior Electronics Engineer



We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Pune.

Working as a Senior Electronics Engineer for Signify is dynamic. You\xe2\x80\x98ll be working on various products and technologies in hardware electronics domain. We\xe2\x80\x99re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer who\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for understanding the product requirements to design, develop and test overall product designs for Lighting Products.

You will be responsible for ensuring successful conclusion of all phases of assigned standard engineering projects, within an appropriate time. Investigate and troubleshoots problems and requirements of projects as well as develop plans for solutions. This position coordinates with other departments on assigned tasks and secures and reviews inputs from various stakeholders and make recommendations accordingly. Provides data for team-level measures.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Use your technical expertise to successfully execute projects with minimal technical mentoring

Work in conjunction with remote engineering and internal resources to create the overall project timeline as well as define deliverables and drive projects to completion.

Work on electronics designs (Analog, Mixed signal and a reasonable amount in power electronics) to develop innovative solutions with desired quality standards

Coordinate with marketing, plants, sourcing teams to ensure project specifications are clear, complete, and achievable and are consistent with voice of the customer.

Review technical concepts of all electronics projects including equipment specification and design.

Testing for design verification, system testing; resolution on field issues, end of life support for any products

Conducts design reviews as well as the Design and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA, PFMEA) sessions to Identifying project risks and develop response

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need

Total relevant work experience: 6 + years (BE in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering)

Should have knowledge & experience in analog and mixed signal electronics designs

Should have knowledge & experience on design and development of power electronics/drivers & digital electronics designs, microcontrollers, microprocessor and communication protocols-based circuits (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, USB).

Knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances \xe2\x80\x93 UL/IEC/ RoHS/REACH etc.

Should have knowledge & experience on simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Model Sim, etc.

Should have working knowledge of embedded C, MATLAB, scripting language knowledge e.g. Python

knowledge on PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design, e-CAD tools (Mentor Graphics DX Designer with Team Centre, PADS Layout, Allegro etc.)

Ability to work independently as well as a team member

Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
