Job Summary The Senior Director is a team player with the ability to build and maintain good relations with all levels of the team, working to define and execute the practice strategy. They will provide end-to-end delivery of projects and provide innovative solutions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Taking responsibility and actively engaging in proposal design and writing, from a methodological and commercial perspective Partnering with MMA Centers of Excellence (CoE) leadership in ensuring the pipeline of projects is sufficiently filled Independently leading and developing a variety of project proposals such as: Project design and scope Project budgets Realistic time planning Solid staff planning Leading health-economic model development and adaptations, comparative effectiveness research, network meta-analysis and clinical trial data analysis Developing and adapting cost-effective models and budget impact models by performing statistical analysis on patient-level data Taking the lead in writing technical reports and scientific communications Setting and managing expectations internally and externally in terms of planning and execution, demonstrating control of the project Ensuring the quality of all disciplines within projects, including budgets and schedules Leading and managing a variety of projects across other CoEs in a multidiscipline capacity Line managing junior/mid-level staff, conducting their performance reviews, and guiding them to achieve their personal and technical development throughout the year Working closely with the management team, providing feedback to the team, and sharing decisions with the project teams Scope of work may include: Cost-effectiveness model development and adaptation (decision tree, Markov modelling, micro-simulation) Budget impact model development and adaptation Model analysis Dashboard development and adaptation Literature reviews Meta-analysis (meta-analysis, indirect comparison) Matching-adjusted indirect comparisons Trial data analysis Data extrapolation Reporting Presenting Advising Experience, Skills, And Qualifications Experience in economic modelling and/or meta-analysis with a consulting company or pharmaceutical company preferred A master\'s degree or PhD in relevant (health-)economics, public health, epidemiology, mathematics, statistics, or medical field required Documented track record for the design and implementation of cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact analyses, meta-analyses, or other mathematical models Experience with programming languages (R, WinBUGS, VBA, etc) Prior experience writing proposals, responding to RFPs, and managing project teams Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to prepare relevant summaries of complex materials Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences About OPEN Health OPEN Health unites deep scientific knowledge with wide-ranging specialist expertise to unlock possibilities that improve health outcomes and patient wellbeing.
