Great opportunity for a Senior Design Manager with 11 to 16 year\'s experience in Corporate Interiors/Workplace design.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for multiple corporate Interior Design projects in totality.
  • Manage a team of designers, who will support the delivery of the designs as per the expectation of the client.
  • Plan, interpret, organize, schedule, and manage design projects through all phases of development.
  • Verify the BOQs prepared by Procurement team.
  • Check GFCs and construction drawings before releasing to site.
  • Oversee design development and establish and monitor budgets.
  • Review the designs sent to the client for quality.
  • Work closely with the project managers to support with any design changes required at the construction stage.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends in the Real estate industry.
  • Incorporate innovative ideas to ensure the allocated budget is under control for each project.
  • Collaborate with senior management to understand the organizations real estate and workplace design requirements and objectives.
  • Develop a strategic vision and long-term plan for corporate real estate and workplace design initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in workplace design.
  • Lead a team of designers, architects, and consultants to create inspiring and functional corporate real estate and workplace designs.
  • Provide design direction, guidance, and feedback to ensure the team\'s work meets the company\'s standards and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
  • Manage the entire design process, including initial concept development, space planning, interior design, and furniture selection.
  • Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate and manage external vendors, contractors, and consultants involved in the design and construction process.
  • Engage with senior executives, department heads, and employees to understand their needs and preferences for the workplace environment.

  • Build strong relationships with external partners, such as contractors and furniture suppliers, to ensure smooth collaboration and project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Integrate sustainable design principles into corporate real estate projects, promoting energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental responsibility.
Preferred candidate profile:
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture / Masters degree in Architecture and Licensure from Council of Architecture - India
  • 9-14 years of experience in Corporate/Commercial/workplace interior fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of Design, Bylaws, codes, and standards, relevant to interior fitouts.
  • Tech-savvy and have experience in successfully adopting digital and technology initiatives.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and inspire the design team.
  • Excellent project management abilities including budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Work well under pressure and independently without supervision
  • Comfortable with traveling to handle design delivery for multiple projects across India.
  • Software knowledge AutoCAD, Revit (preferable), Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop
