Job Description

The Role:

Senior Analytics Specialist will be part of the central data science team, working in a fast-paced environment aimed at creating high impact in close association with the business, product and tech teams. Some of the responsibilities include working with large, complex data sets, developing strong business and product understanding and closely being involved in deploying data driven ML/AI solutions throughout the customer life cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather data from different sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external platforms. Develop and maintain data repositories or databases for easy access and retrieval.
• Working with Business, Product. Data engineering & tech teams for continuous improvement of data accuracy through feedback and scoping on instrumentation quality and completeness
• Support the creation of regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Assist in summarizing and presenting analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting processes and templates.
• Processing large/ complex data sets to perform basic statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Use various ML/ AI based techniques to product robust data driven solutions
• Ability to negotiate with and influence workstream stakeholders on managing prioritization, scope, methodology and timelines of projects Along with pushing back on requirements aligned with Business/product
• Showcase problem solving skills and independently scope, deconstruct and formulate solutions from first-principles that bring outside-in view to the data insights.
• Closely involved with the product life cycle working on ideation, ability to proactively identify gaps/opportunities in the product and business through the data and recommend improvements to achieve the business OKRs/Goals
• Goes beyond just the questions asked with the domain/contextual knowledge to make it actionable and drive implementation of change Develop compelling stories with business insights, focusing on strategic goals of the organization

• Bachelor\'s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related quantitative field
• 3-7 years of high quality hands-on experience in analytics and data science
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, R, SQL and similar tools
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Good business acumen and the ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Hands on experience in working with large scale structured, semi structured and unstructured data and various approach to preprocess/cleanse data, dimensionality reduction
• Working Knowledge of experimentation, statistical analytics & ML/ AI algorithms is a must
• Develop a clear understanding of the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the product/strategic initiative and leverage it to identify and act upon existing Gaps and Opportunities
• Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment, meet deadlines,and perform and continuously raising the bar
• A self-starter who is looking to build grounds up and contributing to move the needle through impact Experience in the BFSI domain is an added plus.
