About the role

In the OBS group, the engineering service provides expertise and support for the hosting platforms and internal business customers.

• You design the large VMWare virtual infrastructure (SDDC stack) with advance components(VRA, NSX-T, VCD, VSAN, VRO, VROPs etc) along with Hardware products like (HPE & Dell)
• Provide Level 3 support to delivery team covering the VMWare virtual infrastructure (SDDC stack) with advance components (VRA, NSX, VCD, VSAN, VRO, VROPs etc).

• Manage Product Life-Cycle and technology updates which includes study of New Products, component and feature, proof of concept, Lab Validation.
• Manage Pre-Sales support which includes Solution Validation-standard Offering, quotation for bill of material and work estimation.
• Manage Engineering Designing which includes Low level design and any upgrade and migration plan
• Manage Road map & Release management which includes product industrialization & documentation, vulnerability & patch management
• Act as a next level support for existing Virtualization L3 resources.
• You will account for all technical escalations and other technical aspects related to the Hardware and Virtualization.
• Validate and document standard procedures for deploying and operating related to Hardware and VMware related solution.
• Provide documentation on the architecture (admin guide, customer-oriented documentation, support to process documentation)
• Validate and document new OS versions and Roles/features as well as new server hardware and VMware Stack for integration into the OCB Catalog.
• Manage the Lab which is implemented for various solution validation by the engineering team members
• You ensure that all engineers write proper technical documents, project files, detailed technical architecture, training materials specific operational documents etc.
• You will be attending project meetings where the project manager/ coordinator have requested your presence and input.
• You work from the overall architecture project (High Level Design) to specify a detailed technical architecture (Low Level Design), meeting our high quality standards
• You ensure the proper transfer of knowledge and skills to the operational teams providing, for example, training activities.
• You have the sense of relationship, good teaching and writing skills.

About you

Knowledge & SkillSet Planning & Designing Solution for customers. Creating Low Level Diagram (LLD) with detailed solution information. Studying new features and performing validation in lab. Helping operation teams for any escalated issues and modification in existing solutions. Performing Proof of Concept/Release Management for new features in Hardware technologies & Vmware Stack

• Understand and willing to provide support on rotational basis, 24 X 7

• Knowledge and experience of virtualization.
• Strong communication skills
• Good written and fluent English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Should be a team player

• Ability to Design & implement large VMware(SDDC stack) on converged/Hyperconverged Private cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce solid work that is both correct and to a high standard.
• Ability to demonstrate when required a sound level of understanding across a broad range of technical subjects and be able to apply this knowledge to customer's specific requirements.
• Ability to work well in a team environment but also on an individual basis to ensure tasks/actions are completed.
• You must be highly self-motivated and work well under pressure.
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of storage infrastructure.
