About the Role : Senior Citrix Engineer

The Team : Productivity Services is part of Digital Workplace. Our global team focuses on providing architectural and engineering services for S&P Global\xe2\x80\x99s desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, virtual apps, print services, mobile devices and productivity applications.

Responsibilities and Impact :
Manage the implementation of workplace virtualization technologies to enable business value and expand adoption in new use cases.

Act as a change agent, driving modern desktop virtualization capabilities to increase user productivity and serve as an industry differentiator.

Assist with the implementation and upgrades of the Workplace technologies to enable business value and adoption. Assist with the implementation of support tools and processes related to the same.

Provide input on IT Strategy, operations and innovations as related to infrastructure technologies.

Help drive enhanced workplace productivity service capabilities to increase user productivity as an industry differentiator.

Develop and maintain desktop virtualization roadmap, leveraging industry best practices, SPGI Digital Technology strategy and business requirements to align technology to business needs to ensure optimal outcomes.

Possess a deep technical understanding about Citrix, Citrix Clolud, Azure Virtual Desktop and other desktop virtualization technologies. The candidate doesn\xe2\x80\x99t hesitate to roll-up their shirtsleeves as and when needed to provide Tier 3 support for managed service provider.

Interact with key business and IT stakeholders to proactively identity business problems and opportunities that can be addressed with innovative technology solutions. Be able to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical requirements.

Ensure enterprise standards, goals and compliance policies are maintained and enforced in the desktop virtualization services area.

Oversee and lead/drive the implementation of key enterprise initiatives related Virtual Desktop computing technologies.

Present to senior management desktop virtualization technology-related issues and trends.

Serve as primary liaison to vendors in this technology space.

Partner and work collaboratively with various IT groups to influence their future technology decisions to optimize the desktop virtualization service.

Contribute to other Workplace Services initiatives.

Work collaboratively with other members of Workplace Services to influence future technology decisions.

What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications :
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.

5 or more years hands on experience providing planning and engineering support for Citrix virtual desktops and virtual apps.

Experience in Cloud VDI (Azure WVD, Citrix Cloud) is needed.

Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Configuration Manager, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting (3-4 years minimum).

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities and projects.

Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).

IT Operational oversight knowledge is a plus, especially with a managed service provider.

Highly collaborative with product owner mindset and manages good relationship with peers within and outside the team.

(Preferred) Technical Exposure with Liquidware FlexApp.
