:Job Title- Senior Business Control OfficerLocation- Pune, IndiaRole DescriptionFunction \xe2\x80\x93 DWS Control Office (DCO)The DWS Control Office (DCO) is the central business function mandated to design an effective framework of business processes and controls in collaboration with the DWS business units and enabling functions. The activities of the DCO spans across the entire DWS value chain, including all product groups, business processes and regions and includes:

• Determining business risk profile for different product groups, business processes, regions or DWS group as a whole,
• Leading the business units through the execution of business risk and control assessment processes,
• Providing transparency to DWS Executive Board and Senior Management on weaknesses in DWS\xe2\x80\x99 control environment and required remediating actions,
• Designing and implementing an effective framework to analyse and implement business processes and business controls,
• Leading and/or overseeing central remediation initiatives with the aim of improving DWS\xe2\x80\x99s business processes and control environment.

Role Senior Business Control Officer \xe2\x80\x93 Enterprise Process & Controls ManagementThis specific role is to act as Senior Business Control Officer \xe2\x80\x93 Processes and Controls reporting into the Head of Enterprise Process and Controls Management (ad interim \xe2\x80\x93 Head of DWS Control Office).Objective of EPM (Enterprise Process Management) practice is to support DWS divisions in building a holistic Business Process Management function. Objective of DWS Controls Management, which is closely connected to the EPM function, is to guide the DWS Divisions in identifying control needs as well as to develop, maintain and centrally document primary business controls.The Enterprise Process and Controls Management team will facilitate divisions to manage, evaluate, observe, design, plan, improve, monitor and control DWS groups process as well as controls in line with group \xe2\x80\x98Enterprise Process Management\xe2\x80\x99 procedures.What we\xe2\x80\x99ll offer youAs part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you\xe2\x80\x99ll enjoy

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the development, technical implementation and maintaining DWS EPM framework
• Support DWS divisions in implementing Enterprise Process Management (EPM) i.e., a. Process discovery, b. Process modelling, c. Business and Technical Quality Assurance, d. Publication of approved process models and d. Annual re-certification process.
• Lead activities to conduct trainings on EPM & EPM tool for internal teams,
• Ensure that BPMN standards, as well as other BPM modelling guidelines and conventions of the bank are consistently applied.
• Apply knowledge acquired on business process modelling notations to various forms of documenting processes.
• Guide DWS divisions to identify and assess process risks through risk identification process
• Establish processes to perform business process and control reviews in relation to different process groups
• Assist in design, implementation, and documentation of control framework to ensure the controls are aligned to process objectives
• Guide division in identification of process improvement potential

Your skills and experience

• University degree \xe2\x80\x93 ideally in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics or equivalent
• At least 7 years experience in banking or asset management, preferrable in Process Management, Business Architecture and/or Control Management related activities
• Experience in Asset Management Industry and/or Financial Industry
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders
• BPMN 2.0 or other BPM / Operational Excellence certification preferred.
• Experience in operational risk management in either 1st or 2nd Line of Defense
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word as well as a relevant Business Process Management Tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
