We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Agile Business Analyst.
Role Purpose: The Agile Business Analyst role is integral to our ways of working through agile delivery methods, ensuring the work and solutions delivered are aligned fully to the business requirements and ultimately providing the necessary value required. The successful candidate will work with Business and Change teams to map as-is and to-be business processes and scope the resulting IT solution which will be articulated as User Stories for development by our pods. The Agile Business Analyst will need to take a holistic view of the solution to enable the development of MVPs with additional incremental deliveries which can be articulate as part of the product roadmaps. This role reports into and requires a strong working relationship with the GT IT Business Analysis & Architecture Manager, as well as working very closely with our Business SME’s, Product Owners, Solution Architects and Engineers
In this role, you will:

• Assures delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live - these may span across multiple business units and / or geographies
• Supports the Product Owner to evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog
• Understands risk exposure to the bank and help senior colleagues manage it
• Driving measurable continuous improvement into all delivery environments across all disciplines
• Responsible for identifying critical data quality issues, performing root cause analysis and supporting implementation of solutions
• Responsible for providing data lineage view to discover the data flow/movement from its source to destination via various changes and moves
• Responsible to ensure data quality improves continuously, collaborating with technical teams to develop data models which support the implementation of data standards
• Deploy and maintaining Metadata applications for recording and maintaining data lineage to understand, visualize and optimize the sources and flow of data across the bank

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience in Finance is essential (including P&L, Balance Sheets and General Ledger systems). Tax knowledge an advantage.
• Has expertise in Agile engineering practices (eg Scrum, Kanban, LEAN) as well as Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework experience. Significant experience in defining user stories and managing business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentational skills.
• Provides expertise in at least 1 technical capability/competency, such: as data, cloud, mobile, digital, security, core banking, micro services, capacity management and architecture platforms.
• Keen attention to detail, and demonstrable ownership of problems and tasks.
• Exposure to data modelling and data governance.
• Process definition and mapping.
