The perfect candidate will have experience building products that support data-driven decision-making. They should be result-oriented, have close attention to detail, have ability to diagnose complex problems, possess strong analytical acumen, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and be a skilled storyteller and have demonstrated success in data science and reporting & analytics projects.

  • Understand and translate business needs into analytics projects (Operational & Advanced Reporting, and Strategic & Predictive Analytics)
  • Understand existing datasets (structured/unstructured) and transform/reshape/join multiple datasets for integrated reporting
  • Contribute ideas, designs and algorithms that will influence people outcomes - test them through statistical hypotheses
  • Produce results from analyses that will be used to drive HR investments, talent management decisions, and changes to the fundamental delivery of HR services
  • Communicate complex statistical concepts to non-technical audience in both written and verbal mediums; Provide coaching and training on use and interpretation of data
  • Influence Human Resources and senior business leaders through strong communication skills and deep subject matter expertise to turn insights into action and impact
  • Design and execute hypotheses, surveys, analyses, and the reports (both ad hoc and standard) that we deliver - independently and collaboratively
  • Develop understanding of Publicis Sapient data environment and build relationships with key local and global stakeholders (partners, customers, and broader analytics community)
  • Utilize available technologies, programming languages and analytical tools to deliver assigned projects
  • Able to visualize data and draw meaningful analyses and stories on emerging trends and process improvements
  • Create, maintain and ensure quality assurance of key people data sets, reports and metrics
  • Collaborate with Data Integrity team and ensure Data Governance. Extend technical/automation support to the DI team in data cleansing, validation, and transformation
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues, and best practices
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of People functions along with the coordination and communication between support and business functions
Qualifications
  • 4-8 yrs experience
  • Consulting skills and ability to establish relationships
  • A unique knack for data manipulation, analysis, and statistical modeling
  • Clear understanding of data formats and ability to reshape and transform unstructured data into an analytical-friendly structure. Fluency in SQL and RDBMS (or DPLYR in R)
  • Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards that distill complex analyses into meaningful and accessible insights and recommendations
  • Presentation, influencing, and storytelling skills
  • Excellent programming skills in R and Python
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI including DAX formulation (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Access & MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent knowledge of in-built and external Excel add-ins (Solver, Decision Trees, Data Analysis)
  • Proficiency in the application of statistical prediction modeling, machine learning classification, and forecasting techniques
  • Experience in the application of AI (Neural Networks), Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest) etc.
  • Experience in analytics projects in the area of people Analytics to manage employee or customer life cycles starting from acquisition to growth and retention
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Required to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data
