Better requires process discipline and simplification

As a Data Engineer, we will be looking for you to design, build and maintain complex data lake and warehouse while ensuring easy and secure access to data. You will be responsible for data pipeline design, development, quality assurance, verification, testing, optimization, migration, and maintenance tasks. You will be responsible develop processes for data management across the enterprise real-time and batch. Establish and maintain comprehensive data architecture and data integration documentation, including flows, transformations aligned with core design principles, techniques, standards and best practices. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure understanding of data architecture, data ingestion/integration and BI requirements.

For this role, you need you to have analytical skills and a background in data management and developing data pipelines for streaming, real-time, batch modes. You should have 4-5 years of experience and knowledge of S3, Kafka, Snowflake, Java. You are experienced with ETL tools like Talend Cloud, Matillion, HVR, Unix and have practice with AWS cloud services. Experience on DevOps tools and standard security practices to encrypt / decrypt files or PII fields is desirable. You will need to be a good English speaker. Your ability to do a lot of design for data quality and making sure that every job can be safely executed will help you succeed in this role.
