Department Description Client technology comprises of Fidelity\'s Institutional Business Units in the UK and other parts of Europe and is a strategic area targeted for growth over the coming years. The Technology Department has been acting as the key enablers for the business in achieving their goals. The DB portfolio of projects will include a large collection of strategic initiatives as well as tactical ones to support day-to-day operations and strengthen the environment. Purpose of the Role This role is for a Senior Analyst programmer who can understand complex functional, technical and architectural issues and has the ability to understand the implications associated with the chosen technical strategy well aligned with the business context. The successful candidate would own OBIEE development/enhancement and work with a high performing OBIEE team in an individual contributor role to drive BI and Analytical solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with all levels of the business and technical community. Key Responsibilities Design and development of best-in-class Reporting solutions using OBIEE 11g to support internal and external reporting and analytics requirements Create solution architecture, perform technical designs and provide delivery estimates Design and implement OBIEE physical, logical and presentation layer for different source systems with complete ownership of OBIEE RPD Design and Develop reports and dashboards, alerts and agents as per the project needs Design and implement row and column level security in OBIEE layers Liaise with Business analysis to understand requirement and convert the same into technical design Work with the solution architect in understanding the initial feasibility analysis and how to achieve the optimal technology solution to a business proposition Prepare implementation plan and coordinate with various teams to deploy codes to different environment Coordinate with testing teams to review technical test cases and closure of defects Perform proof of concepts in relevant OBIEE features and get necessary buy-ins to implement the same Assist in configuration of various OBIEE components where required as well as change different configuration files to implement any OBIEE features as needed in the project Experience and Qualifications Required 5-8 years of experience in delivering at least 2-3 project in BI, Analytics & reporting applications Experience in integrating data warehouses, dimensional modelling design. At least 3+ years of experience in OBIEE 11g/10g toolsets (11g preferred) with direct ownership of OBIEE implementations. Working knowledge of the OBIEE Architecture and different toolset capabilities within OBIEE including BI Publisher and SmartView. Excellent hands on experience on RPD (all three layers) with ability to model different database structures. Experience on all aspects of security implementation in OBIEE including row level security Ability to create reports, charts, pages, folders and dashboards in OBIEE. Ability to creation alerts and agents in OBIEE Ability to create reports in BI Publishers would be preferred End to End knowledge of data warehouse architecture with at least 1+ years of experience in Oracle and good concepts of oracle database objects (tables/indexes/partitions) Very good SQL querying capabilities Desired experience to troubleshoot other general and performance issues in OBIEE Informatica Powercenter and data load experience would be added advantage \'Hands on\' system software analysis, development, testing and experience in reporting stream (preferably DWBI & analytics) Person should be a B-Tech, BE in relevant stream from reputed institute Exposure and sound knowledge of Financial Services domain - Mutual Funds and Fund Accounting would be definitive plus Certification in OBIEE 11g is an added advantage Essential Skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with \'technical\' or \'non-technical\' users/ customers Strong customer focus - meeting and exceeding expectations, resolving issues and developing solutions to meet customer needs Ability to apply new skills / additional information acquired in relation to role Ability to interact with Solution Architects and Business Analyst.
