Department Description

The Data Value function is based in India and supports Fidelity Worldwide Investment's Sales, Marketing, Propositions, Risk, Finance, Customer Service and HR teams across the globe. People Analytics is a capability within the Data Value function with the objective of leveraging the power of data and analytics to generate relevant and actionable insights for better and informed decision making in people related matters

Purpose of the Role & Key Responsibilities

Your role will be to partner with relevant teams in HR, Technology and Business to build systems & infrastructure required to collect and analyse HR data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives, and interface with HR and other business functions to serve their data needs

You will be expected to take a leading role in developing the People Analytics capabilities. This will involve

  • Engaging with subject matter experts across HR (Business Partners, Recruiting, HR Communications, Compensation, Benefits, Shared Services) and other functions to understand their data needs and take end-to-end ownership of HR related analytics
  • Drive automated reporting and develop processes to deliver on the data needs of the function and broader organization with regards people related matters
  • Integrate data from multiple systems and develop analytics on headcount, organizational performance metrics, and other key performance indicators. Run reconciliations to ensure data integrity in systems implementations and analytics projects
  • Partner closely with HR Shared Services and Technology teams to support build out of required systems and functionality to collect, manage, analyse and present data
  • Designing solutions and developing analysis and insights through analytics, which will include identifying issues, forming hypotheses and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations on critical initiatives and influence leaders to take action on those findings
Experience and Qualifications Required

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master's degree in Business, Accounting / Finance, Economics, Statistics,Human Resources, or related discipline

Experience
  • Overall 4 to 6 years of experience in Analytics (People analytics, data analysis & management, data visualization)
  • 4+ years of experience in Visualisation tools such as Tableau/Power BI
  • Knowledge of Workday Reporting is desired
  • Knowledge of Data Science concepts is desired
  • Experience with formulating hypothesis, interpreting & communicating results
Key Competencies
  • Ability to engage in discussion with senior stakeholders on defining business problems, designing analyses projects and articulating analytical insights to business managers
  • Experience with secondary data and knowledge of primary market research is a plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent stake-holder management skills needed

  • High degree of comfort in working with ambiguity
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense for structure and logic
  • Ability to develop, test and validate hypotheses
