Active Directory - JD

Required Skills:
The individual will require the necessary skills to perform the following job duties (plus other related duties as assigned):

• Function as technical lead for Active Directory environment, provide oversight on daily activities to set priorities, function as mentor, help with problem escalation, and communicate significant problems or issues to management
• Perform capacity planning, upgrades and expansion of Active Directory environment
• Participate in the analysis, design and implementation of future infrastructure systems and services
• Participate in the analysis and redesign of existing infrastructure systems and services
• Participate in the identification of vulnerabilities and their mitigation
• Create and maintain documentation on SOPs and System Design
• Research, evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies
• Maintain effective communications with vendors, peers and clients in support of assigned projects

Qualifications
The individual should be familiar with standard operating procedures and best practices in the listed technology areas, and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals:

• Windows Server and Active Directory
• Windows Server and Active Directory Security
• Auditing technologies and tools, and provide reports, as needed
• Virtualization . Firewalls
• ADFS Services . DNS services . DHCP services . NTP services
• AAD Connect
• Auditing and security policies/procedures
• File and Print services
• SCCM and WSUS, for both servers and desktops
• High Availability / Disaster Recovery

Experience required

• 9+ years hands-on experience in Windows / Active Directory environments
• 4+ years hands-on experience in a complex architectural environment
• Experience in

• Windows Server / Active Directory, and related services
• Virtualization methodologies
• Auditing methodologies
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery methodologies
• Security methodologies
• Firewalls and tiered environment methodologies
• BS in a technology field. Equivalent experience can be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
