In this role, you have the opportunity to Ensure revenue recognition for equipment business, as per accounting standard (IFRS15). Review balance sheet account reconciliation at enterprise level. Execute monthly ICS/Sox controls on time. Perform month end close for the assigned activities / markets. Support year end audits. You are responsible for
  • Execution and take responsibility for ICS/SOx controls to make it effective. Take corrective actions and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Being the RTR Market Facing AS for APAC
  • Proactively identify control deficiencies and work with business to mitigate deficiencies / risks.
  • Review balance sheet account reconciliation (BSAR) for deferred revenue, cost accrual, work in progress and unbilled. Justification of end balance and documentation of aged / manual items
  • Perform month end close (MEC) activities such as review / accounting of project:
    • Taxes paid reporting,
    • Margin
    • Accrual
    • Deferred revenue
  • Monitor the assigned KPI and ensure to meet the targets
  • Drive upstream revenue quality process issues with upstream stakeholders by setting up regular cadence
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Support year-end audits including, process walkthrough, test of controls, documentation, coordination.
You are a part of APAC Market Facing Team ( One Finance ) in the Global Hub To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • E2E responsible for accounting processes (GL accounting, Month End Close, Balance Sheet
  • Account Reconciliation, RTR related Controls), be the link between Accounting Controllers and 3rd party transactional service provider and drive operational excellence in RTR.
  • Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • E2E responsible for accounting processes GL accounting, MEC, BCS loading, BSAR,
  • RTR related ICS
  • Ensures all business events and transactions are properly recorded and justified
  • Ensures all accounts properly specified/ justified
  • Guardian of the close and ensures progress, timeliness and completeness of close process
  • Owns Trial Statement Review process
  • Supports audits from RTR point of view
  • Oversees, monitors and owns Infosys performance
  • Drives standardization, simplification and operational excellence in RTR
  • Key performance Indicators:
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Quality and Timeliness
  • Month End Close Quality (BCS quality and timely upload)
  • Manual Journals posted
  • Process standardization and # of Kaizens made to drive continuous improvement
  • Internal Control Standards adherence
  • Be the linking pin with Accounting Controllers to receive input on business events for capturing
  • FP&A activities:
    • MEC reports
    • AOP
    • FC
    • NMC commentaries
    • MPR calls
    • Variance analysis.
