Senior Process Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Technical Accounting
Gurgaon, Haryana, India AXA XL is looking for talented individuals to support our business across all product lines and geographies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, global business. Analysts - Policy Management work with Underwriters operating in our international hubs such as New York, Singapore and London and support processing tasks such as Bound, Endorsements, and Policy Issuance etc.
DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Identification of cash and allocate with the correct technical in system. All cash to be allocated within 24hours or fully narrated and investigated with the aim to clear within 5 working days or escalate reason for delay to Management.
  • Review of premiums to be disbursed for Facultative, Global Programs and various LOBs to meet PPW commitments.
  • Complete monthly/quarterly cash summary and bank reconcile for all cash activities for Finance.
  • Federal Excise Tax reporting to US Internal Revenue Service.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaboration and working relationships with Brokers, Account Co-ordinators who are responsible for credit control of Broker balances due to AXA XL.
  • The role requires the individual to have interactions with numerous areas within the organization (Ceded Re, Finance, Claims & Underwriters) and external to the AXA XL (Brokers, Reinsurers) on a global basis so strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ensure to send all reviewed and approved billing invoices to the reinsurers/brokers.
  • Liaison with Brokers/ Reinsurers to maintain effective credit control to recover maximum open recoveries within stipulated period.
  • Update and maintain Broker and Reinsurer Information spreadsheet with all contact information and special requirements to ensure key level of service is always met.
  • Demonstrate an increased level of responsibility for all areas within reporting remit, deputising for peers and his managers as and when required.
  • Identify any training requirements needed in-order to complete the role to a successful level. Liaising with management and peers on a regular basis.
  • Actively and regularly review procedure manuals and workflow processes to ensure they are always fully understood and being always adhered to.
  • Identify and recommend any process improvements, assisting in the implementation and roll out as applicable.
  • Proactively share knowledge with peers in-order to assist in achieving the departmental goals/targets.

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate with 1 to 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience within Insurance Industry in particular Reinsurance or Finance field.
  • Insurance knowledge and ability to understand & interpret insurance terminology.
  • Strong communication / Interpersonal / Decision Making skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, work under pressure and analytical bent of mind
  • Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement and an open mind to change.
