Responsibilities: Responsible for authorization of daily permits (class A, B and H) in area of responsibility To conduct Job Safety Analysis for critical activities as directed by Unit Safety Head To identify key risk steps in permits and be present during that steps with concerned executer To enhance safety culture through daily safety talk and empowerment sessions of Category B contractors To observe as many as possible permit executions during the day to ensure that permit conditions are being followed and resolve issues by On the Job training and Job Design To conduct PTW training for all employees and to improve effectiveness of PTW through Permit Mock Drills To participate in incident investigation related to PTW which will be led by USH To conduct HIRA of at least one non routine activity per week and provide solution through MOC and update HIRA register Learning and Development: Structured and focused program as decided by Safety KFA Team/ Regional Head. The program should have two parts L&D for common subjects L&D for unit specific subjects In formulation plant, to do JD&H (MMI-MCI) of product changeover activities and implement recommendation with help of USH. Identify opportunities for permit reduction by improving engineering processes. Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: PDIS/ADIS, with basic qualification -Bachelor Degree in science/Chemical Engineering Years of experience: Minimum 0-7 yrs (preferred in chemical industries) We are one team, for maximum impact.
