Job Description

:

Job Purpose

Plan and implement Personnel and Industrial Relations policies so as to maintain healthy relations with key authorities (Government/Labour Office/Police/Judiciary) to safeguard company's interest. The role also needs to ensure healthy ER while working in close coordination with Management Teams & Trade Unions to maintain productive ER along with managing statutory compliances and handling all Legal matters

Key Result Area

Legal Matters:

1. Monitoring, filing & submission of documents on pending case (Labour, Civil & Criminal) before various authority as labour court/ Industrial court, Lower court and High court. (including all Cosco cases)
2. Coordinating court case with panel advocate/advocate for updating status of case from time to time and discussion action plan before case date.
3. Coordinating with civic & revenue authority in the matter of property tax & revenue charge, Vetting of property tax Notice and land revenue (Lease land , diversion charge & Other all revenue Related matter ).
4. Company Gun license paper work for updating the name of retainer
5. Updating status of case in Roznama & enablon.

Industrial Relation and PR:

1. Liaison with Govt. authorities such as police, Municipality, Tehsil, SDM office, labour department(Asst. Labour Commissioner , Dy. Labour Commissioner, Labour Court & Industrial Court), Judicial Court (Lower court to High Court) and DM office .
2. Media Management to safeguard public image of the organization
3. Reply the Notice / Query of the local bodies e.g. Assembly/Police Station, SDM Office and revenue department

Discipline and Conflict Management:

1. Active participation in mediation and conciliation proceeding against Union/Advocate before ALC & DLC
2. Taking care of laws covered under Industrial Dispute Act, Gratuity Act, Standing Order Act and Factory Act etc.
3. Implementation of Consequence Management & Domestic Enquiry under Standing Order Act.
4. Interaction with all HOD / SH/shift engineer/Technicians to know shop floor dynamics
5. Assisting in maintaining harmonious relations in the through regular interactions with TU leaders, workmen and other relevant stakeholders
