Description Mission Statement: Lead a functional work team focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of SCM transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures. Your Responsibilities: Transaction processing: Monitors accurate processing of SCM transactions. Oversees organization and work allocation for individuals involved in processing. Analysis: Oversees analysis of SCM transactions and highlights discrepancies/anomalies for correction. Optimization: Identifies, recommends and assists in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains. Internal controls: Along with the SCM Delivery Manager leads internal control over transactions. Coaching and mentoring: Provide regular coaching and training to the team. Your background: Role exposure - More than 8 years of experience in SCM and leadership role. Prior experience of working in SCM operations (PR-to- PO, tactical sourcing & procurement) Should have hands-on experience of SAP SCM Module. Must have experience of team handling Advanced MS Office (Excel & ppt.) knowledge would be preferred. Exposure to data mining tools, would be an added advantage. With a focus on operational execution short/medium-term operational/tactical responsibilities. Often the first manager level with full responsibility for human resource planning, selection, development and performance management. Management involves utilizing individual subject matter expertise.
