Educational qualification: Engineer/MBA (Preferably in supply chain management from reputed institute). Skills & abilities / Behavioral abilities: Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation & internet research skills Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook/E-Mails - Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills. Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment Ability to work on Proposals and Requirements and liaison between the Internal BD Team Roles and Responsibility at Excelsis: Ascertaining material requirements from end user, identifying and developing a reliable Vendor for procurement of materials from local as well as international market. Negotiating with local as well as multinational vendors for improving product quality, price, credit terms & lead-time for deliveries. Coordination with local and international vendors and plan for logistics to ensure on time deliveries. Formulating MIS reports relating to material management, cost saving / vendor QA operation & transmitting them to the top management for facilitating the decision-making process. Maintaining proper documentation viz. Quotes, Purchase orders, Requisition, Invoices, Delivery Note, GRN, payments as per standard operating procedures for planning processes and systems. Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets. Discus forecast and inventory planning with end user and ensure it is in line with the production targets. To have better understanding of INCO terms, various payment instruments, H. S. Codes etc. used in international trade Proactively facilitating, re-engineering, best practice & consensus between functional experts (Demand Planning, Inventory planning, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Operation, Finance) Required Profile / Key Skills: Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchase, Market Research, commodity price trends etc. Preferable industry / company: Component Manufacturing, Automobile or Capital goods manufacturing experience will be added advantage. Tier 1, 2 & 3 companies preferred (0-3 years preferred)
