Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage the SAP Inhouse landscape and work with any offshore SAP Basis teams
• Lead Solman technical configuration.
• Work with the internal SAP Support and Application Development organizations to optimize the performance of the SAP environment.
• Be an active participant in a Disaster Recovery plan for the SAP environment that will meet RTO & RPO requirements.
• Work with SAP Enterprise Support to solve issues in the environment that require the application of OSS notes or higher.
• Work with the Manager of SAP Basis to ensure that the application environment is properly sized and tuned to support operational and project initiatives.

• Technical Proficiencies
• Good understanding of technical architecture related to SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java
• At least 2 full cycle implementations & 2 upgrade projects experience
• SAP Technology Certification preferred
• Database Knowledge on IBM DB2, MaxDB, Hana
• Microsoft Windows and Linux Knowledge
• Knowledge of SAP version upgrades, working knowledge of support and enhancement packs, good knowledge of upgrade tools, and understanding of different upgrade scenarios.
• Capable of performing sizing and performance tuning evaluations and recommendations.
• Good operation experience, pro-actively monitoring and analysis of logs, traces, checks, cleanup activities, and archiving as a precondition for a healthy system to ensure the availability of SAP solutions
• Deep understanding and knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SLD, DAA, LMDB, End to End diagnostics
• Strong knowledge of SAP BASIS administration in various core areas which includes monitoring, reporting, System and Client copies, Installation, Support Packs, and enhancement packs
• Understand standard troubleshooting including analyzing short dumps, system/application logs, and user/application tracing
• Understanding of High availability as well as disaster recovery strategies
• Job Qualifications
• Education/Experience: Must have 6-10 years of professional experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
