Sales Support Representative

Job Description
- Provide professional and efficient customer service to help the company stay a leader in the freight forwarding industry.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through cold calls, network, and referral
- Identifying key customers and generating interest
- Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers
- Understanding of rate management process, and reading carrier rate sheets
- Effectively maintain the relationship with existing customers
- Achieve sales goals and meet key performance indicators set by the company.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
- Update the booking confirmation on the company\xe2\x80\x99s systems worksheets
- Work closely with shippers, vendors, and suppliers and complete errors on incomplete or inconsistent documentation
- Perform data entry on bills of lading and invoices and transmit to appropriate parties.
- Send pre-alert documents to customers, shippers, consignees, and suppliers to keep them updated on statuses
- Schedule pickup of cargo and arrange bookings with ocean carriers and co-loaders/truckers.
