Job Title: Sales Manager
Function: Sales
Location: Pune

Primary Purpose
As a Sales manager you are responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active
direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the resort. Also develops strategic action plans for resort to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. Major accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities)
1. Should be flexible, decisive, motivated, reliable, and creative. Should possess strong
management and leadership capabilities. 2. Should able to lead the preparation and implementation of short and long term selling
strategies, through cross functional teams, in order to optimise profitability. 3. Design attractive & informational promotional campaigns to build strong brand identity, create demand and establish a consistent & definite corporate image for the company. 4. Define Sales policies and maintain an efficient network ensuring full access to company
amenities. Should able to accurately forecast sales in close cooperation with managers
against market demand. 5. Ensure market competitiveness by defining development targets and competitive pricing so
as to achieve the sales and profitability targets. 6. Recruit, develop, maintain and lead sales teams and provide motivational leadership so as
to be able to realize agreed performance criteria. 7. Design attractive & informational advertising & promotional campaigns to build strong
brand identity, create on-farm demand and establish a consistent & definite corporate
image for the company. 8. Should able to handle and manage pressure/stress well to generate sales. 9. Should able to create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with customers can
clinch sales and lead to repeat business. 10. Should have superb interpersonal skills such as oral and written communications. Lead by
example, make them accountable, push them, and get them out of their comfort zone.\xe2\x80\x9d 11. Duties and Responsibilities
12. Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to
optimize performance of sales team. Additionally work with individual hotel teams to
identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources. 13. Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations to meet the
financial needs of the hotels. 14. Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity
and always striving to achieve the same goals. 15. Accompany sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in development of the
account and to access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales person
16. Is responsible for all aspects of sales at Della Adventure, both resort and Villas. 17. Developing and refining all sales processes, in conjunction with marketing team
18. Management of room inventory to maximize occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction
Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)
1. Reports directly to GM/Managing Director. 2. Interfaces strongly with all functional / department heads and employees. Key figures - provide key data of the job e.g. budget, number of reports etc
Key success factors - how is the success in the position measured

Skills, experience and qualifications required for the job

Bachelor\'s degree/MBA (MKtg) preferred with at least 5-8 years\' experience in resort hotel
sales. The ideal candidate should be self motivated professional
Should have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and
local language

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor\'s degree/MBA (MKtg) preferred

Minimum Job Experience: 5-8 years\' experience in resort hotel sales

Reporting to: Director

Travel: Yes(If required)
