Function: Sales
Location: Hyderabad Primary Purpose
As a Sales manager, you are responsible for developing and fostering business through proactive direct sales, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls, and tours of the resort. Also develops strategic action plans for resort to driving measurable, incremental sales revenue. Major accountabilities of the position
1. Should be flexible, decisive, motivated, reliable, and creative. Should possess strong management and leadership capabilities.
2. Should be able to lead the preparation and implementation of short-term and long-term selling strategies, through cross-functional teams, in order to optimize profitability.
3. Design attractive & informational promotional campaigns to build a strong brand identity, create demand and establish a consistent & definite corporate image for the company. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Maintain an efficient network ensuring full access to company amenities.
2. Should be able to accurately forecast sales in close cooperation with managers against market demand.
3. Ensure market competitiveness by defining development targets and competitive pricing to achieve sales and profitability targets.
4. Recruit, develop, maintain, and lead sales teams and provide motivational leadership so as to be able to realize agreed performance criteria.
5. Design attractive & informational advertising & promotional campaigns to build a strong brand identity, create on-farm demand, and establish a consistent & definite corporate image for the company.
6. Should be able to handle and manage pressure/stress well to generate sales.
7. Should be able to create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with customers that can clinch sales and lead to repeat business.
8. Should have superb interpersonal skills such as oral and written communication. Lead by example, make them accountable, push them, and get them out of their comfort zone.\xe2\x80\x9d
9. Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize the performance of the sales team. Additionally, work with the operations team to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.
10. Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
11. Accompany sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in the development of the account and to assess the effectiveness and sales skills of the salesperson.
12. Is responsible for all aspects of sales at Della Resorts & Adventure, Resort, DATA, Villas & Adventure Park.
13. Developing and refining all sales processes, in conjunction with the marketing team. Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)
1. Reports directly to Director/CMD.
2. Interfaces strongly with all functional / department heads and employees. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications required for the job
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/MBA preferred with at least 5-8 years experience in resort sales. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated professional. Should have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and local language.
