Job Description


As a Business Development Manager specializing in Lab Chemicals, Research Chemicals, and Laboratory Supplies, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and expansion of our company\'s product portfolio in the scientific research and laboratory industry. Your responsibilities will focus on developing and executing strategies to increase sales and market share for a wide range of products, including lab chemicals, bulk supplies, calibration standards, lab glassware, plastic ware, HPLC and GC columns, lab filtration materials, safety ware, reference standards, and impurities. Responsibilities: 1. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, emerging trends, and competitors. Analyze customer needs and demands to develop targeted product strategies. 2. Business Growth Strategy: Devise and implement comprehensive business development plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market presence for lab chemicals and supplies. 3. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their requirements, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. 4. New Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, lead generation, and establishing partnerships with potential customers, research institutions, laboratories, and industries. 5. Product Promotion: Develop marketing campaigns and promotional activities to raise awareness about our lab chemicals, research chemicals, and supplies. Participate in industry conferences, exhibitions, and workshops to showcase our products. 6. Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and generate reports to evaluate progress against targets. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement. 7. Negotiations and Contracts: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties while adhering to company policies and legal requirements. 8. Competitive Pricing: Work closely with the pricing team to determine competitive and profitable pricing strategies for various products in the lab chemicals and supplies category. Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, specifically in the lab chemicals and supplies industry.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory research and industrial needs, including GC and ICP working or calibration standards, safety ware, reference standards, and lab filtration materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain successful business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols related to laboratory products.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
